On Thursday evenings during the Christmas and February holidays, come and experience the magic of the Sainte Foy torchlight descent, either joining in the fun on skis or watching the magic from resort!
As night falls, ski instructors and all the participants light up the slopes with their torches in hand, creating a warm and enchanting spectacle. A wonderful moment to share with family or friends!
Organised in collaboration with the Tourist Office, the resort’s partners and ESF Sainte Foy, this event is one of the season’s must-sees.
Practical information:- Free. Sign up in advance at the Tourist Office.
- Open to skiers with at least a blue run / 1ère Étoile level. Remember you will be skiing down in the dark following lots of other people. If in doubt about whether you or your child should participate, speak to your instructor.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Torches on sale at the top of the Grand Plan chairlift (please bring cash) in aid of the Sainte Foy Ski Club.
- Leave your ski poles at home if you are planning to ski with a torch.
