1. Did you know?
ESF instructors carry out their work as self-employed individuals.
They organise themselves locally within French ski schools (écoles du ski français) to arrange teaching, supervision and activities relating to skiing and other snow sports in resorts.
To safeguard their interests, they also form local unions (Syndicat Local) with legal personality. There is only one Syndicat Local per resort.
The name ‘École du Ski Français’ is authorised by the National Union of French Ski Instructors (S.N.M.S.F.), established in 1945. Its aim is to organise the profession whilst ensuring that instructors retain their organisational and teaching autonomy.
When you use ESF services, your personal data is therefore processed by both the Local Union and the S.N.M.S.F., each acting as a data controller pursuing its own purposes.
